Drinks at ΑΙΩΝ: Welcome Pours to Open Bar
AION's drinks packages are priced per hour, per person: welcome drinks from €20, and three open-bar concepts at €25 (water, soft drinks, sparkling wine), €30 (adding local wine, beer and ouzo) and €45 (adding cocktails). Every extra hour is €15 per person. Rates are as published for recent seasons — confirm current rates when you enquire.

Why pre-book the drinks?
Because on the evening itself, nobody should be standing at a bar with a card in their hand. You pre-order your drinks concept with us — or through your planner — and from the first welcome pour to the last glass, everything is simply brought to you. No tabs, no queues, no decisions after sunset.
Whether your table drinks alcohol or not, the concepts below cover it: mineral water and soft drinks for the children and the drivers, sparkling wine for the toast, Santorini’s volcanic-soil wines and ouzo for the long middle of the evening, cocktails for the celebration after the yes. Pair them with the meal packages and the whole dinner is settled before you ever board the plane.

Which concept fits which evening?
Welcome drinks open the event: guests step off the walk — or the boat at the old port — and are met with a glass before anything else happens. Concept 1 keeps it to sparkling wine and water; Concept 2 opens the spirits shelf for a fuller first hour.
Aghios Nikolaos, named after the little chapel tradition of the island, is the sober-friendly open bar — water, soft drinks and sparkling wine, right for daytime ceremonies and family tables with children.
The Happy Moments adds what Greece actually drinks at a long table: local red, white and rosé from Santorini’s volcanic soil, cold beers, and ouzo. It is the concept most receptions settle on.
The Aion Celebration is the full evening — everything above plus the cocktail list working until the stars are out. It is the concept Scot chose for his sunset proposal and cocktail evening, and it pairs naturally with a marriage proposal that turns into a party.

How do the drinks fit into the venue booking?
Drinks are chosen on top of your venue rental package, which already includes champagne with glasses — and, in the Aion and Obsidian packages, a litre each of local white and red wine. The drinks concepts take over from there for as many hours as your evening runs. Tell us your date, guest count and the concept you are leaning toward, and we confirm current rates and availability — usually the same day.
