A Private Dinner in Paradise

Ruby first got in touch with us about her proposal almost a month before the big day — which is exactly the right amount of time to plan an evening without rushing it. We went back and forth on everything that matters at a table: gastronomy preferences, the decoration, how the terrace should look when they walked down the cobbled path and turned the corner.

The result was a dinner the two of them had entirely to themselves. The evening began with the walk down the cobbled path to the terrace, timed so the sun was already low when they took their seats. Candles along the table, flowers where they should be, the famous sunset moving through its colours over the caldera — and then the proposal, with the terrace theirs and the Aegean in front of them. We may all agree the final result was a beautiful and successful one.

Working on this event was a joy for our whole team. The happiness in this couple’s eyes is what brightened our day — a couple satisfied and happy is, honestly, all we care about at ΑΙΩΝ.
