The Honeymoon Dinner Santorini Owes You

A honeymoon dinner at ΑΙΩΝ gives the newest marriage on the island a private caldera terrace in Fira for the evening — one table for two by the water, courses by Chef Iosif timed to the sunset, and not a single other reservation. From €500, flat in every season.

One evening of the honeymoon should be this

Honeymoons in Santorini are a string of shared views — shared with every other couple who had the same idea. Give one evening a different shape. The terrace closes, the table is set for exactly two, and the island's most photographed hour happens in front of your dinner instead of over a stranger's shoulder. No queue at a viewpoint rail, no table packed beside another — the whole terrace booked for the two of you.

Couples take this evening two ways: early in the trip, as the dinner that opens the marriage properly, or on the last night, as the full stop the honeymoon deserves. The kitchen and the sunset perform identically either way.

What the evening looks like

You come down to the old port — a short walk on the cobbled path, the cable car, or a boat if the honeymoon includes one — and the terrace is already yours: white cloths, candles if you asked for them, welcome drinks cold. Chef Iosif of Lomvranos Restaurant cooks Aegean, à la carte on the night or pre-booked from the meal packages, and the courses are paced so the sun touches the water somewhere between them. After dark the fairy lights take over and dessert happens under stars.

Many couples fold in a short photo session — you are, after all, already dressed for it, on a terrace built for exactly that light. The golden-hour guide explains why photographers love this west-facing hour.

Booking your evening

The honeymoon dinner is the simplest booking we take: a venue rental from €500 — the Ormos hour covers a dinner for two, champagne and glasses included — plus your menu. Flat pricing all year, free rescheduling, one party per evening. If you want the sun choreographed to the minute, the romantic sunset dinner page shows how we time it; every other shape a private table can take starts at private dinners.
