Red Passion at Golden Hour
An evening in one colour
Some couples want candles and quiet; Kola and Alaijah wanted colour. The Red Passion set-up answers with one idea carried all the way through: red roses banked over the white canopy, the rose heart at its centre, a red carpet down the aisle, red petals on the white floor — all of it under the venue’s own magenta bougainvillea, which leans over the pergola as if it had been booked too.
The proposal came under the heart with the whole caldera watching from the water side — one knee, the ring, a yes. And because they had the terrace for three hours, the evening kept going the way the best ones do: portraits through the bougainvillea, the walk out along the old port breakwater in the last full daylight, and then dinner for two at the table beneath the canopy while the sun came down to meet the sea in front of them.
That final photograph — the red canopy glowing, two chairs, the sun on the water — is the venue’s whole argument in one frame: near the water, completely yours, one evening at a time.
